- Steeldrum Vsti was created by Dr Tikov with samples of steeldrum from Trinidad and Tobago. Original notes that were sampled are in diapasone C3 F4. Lower and higher note sounds less realistic but still.
- Studio Steel Drum KONTAKT. Steel Drum represents an extreme deep-sampled Steel Drum. The instrument is comprised of more than 55.000 samples, 5 true vintage microphone positions, 2 world-class reverbs (Bricasti & TC6000). We wanted the instrument to cover all ranges from bass to treble, but have them all contained inside a singular Steel Drum.
Tank Drum features samples from a famous steel tongue drum. Also called hank drums, these instruments are usually made out of propane tanks with tongues of different sizes and tuned in different scales. The instrument we have sampled features 8 tongues and it’s tuned in E minor pentatonic. It was played both with hands and rubber mallets along with some sound effects with hands and brushes. The sound has a long release and is rich in harmonics.

Free piano vst fl studio reddit. I’ve been using FL Studio for fun in my free time and often find myself limited by my lack of general knowledge when it comes to the program and stock plugins. Are there any free comprehensive tutorials or series’ that cover a lot of topics? Random youtube videos often leave me more confused than helped. There are lots of free piano sample libraries that you can compile into a working sample instrument using directwave or many other samplers. There’s also jazz baby, keystone, and piano one. The sound in cant hold us also comes from being mixed really well (EQ’d, compressed, and put in an acoustic space) both by itself and in the context of the mix. After a lot of research on finding the best and real Piano VSTs, I finally came up with a few ones that will sound at least similar to regular acoustic piano instruments (If you are looking for a true one, go for an affordable premium VST).
